Hello, I’m Sophie, the Co-founder of Houston Moms Collective

For a decade, I worked as an HR consultant,  spending ten years walking alongside professionals navigating their career peaks. During this time, I witnessed firsthand the incredible resilience of working mothers. I saw the struggle behind the smiles—the constant juggling act between boardroom deadlines and nursery pickups, and the guilt that often accompanies the attempt to "do it all."

I realized that moms need to slow down and connect. We need space and a community to free up our mental load so we can be present for ourselves and our families.

This is why we created Houston Moms Collective. Our mission is simple: to help mothers reclaim high-quality, uninterrupted bonding time with their children and with each other.

Welcome to our community. You deserve this warmth.

Moni is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional specializing in supporting new mothers, parents, and families. As a mother of two young boys, she brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work, understanding firsthand the joys, challenges, and transformations that accompany the journey into motherhood.

Through her clinical work and her own motherhood journey, Moni has witnessed the profound impact that connection, community, and support can have on the well-being of mothers and families. This vision inspired the creation of Houston Moms Collective—a space dedicated to helping families strengthen bonds, nurture secure attachment, and build meaningful relationships within their communities.

She believes that when women are supported and connected, they are empowered to thrive—not only as mothers, but as individuals with unique gifts and limitless potential.
